Once you have joined the pension plan, you may have the option to invest in a Group Self Invested Personal Pension (GSIPP). This option allows even greater investment flexibility and choice, allowing investments outside of the insured range of funds.
The greater flexibility and wider investment freedom requires active investment management and investment advice due to the higher risks of some of the available investments. To find out more about self investment, please click on the links below.
Key Features of the Group Self Invested Personal Pension Your Guide to GSIPP Charges & Discounts
Within the GSIPP, the minimum regular payment is £300 a month, or £3,000 a year. This reduces to £100 a month if the fund available is more than £50,000. The minimum single or transfer payment is £10,000.
The return on your investment in investment-linked funds is directly related to the performance of the assets in which they invest and the charges on the fund. The price of units in investment-linked funds depends on the value of the underlying assets and can go down as well as up. You may not get back as much as you invest. You should also be aware that additional charges are applicable to the GSIPP.
If you are considering this option, we recommend you seek financial advice to discuss your available options.
